Pushing biological integration

I am a web and database developer with a biological science background that helps me bridge the gap between wet lab scientists and software developers, enabling high-throughput, high-performance data discovery and analysis.

My current research is in convergent functional genomics; taking behavioral gene associations and using homology to discover cross-species correspondence. This approach allows us to aggregate noisy data from mouse and rat experiments into highly-supported genomic associations, and apply them to human disease.
